Papers in Order
Privacy
Short version — an email address if you hand one over, and nothing else.
What is collected
Your email address, only if you submit the form. The form on the free binder page is a Netlify Form: when you press the button, your address (and nothing else you didn't type) is stored by Netlify, the host of this site, and is readable by the publisher. It is kept for sending new printables later. Right now no email service is connected and nothing is sent automatically: the binder itself is on the download page you reach after the form. To be removed from the list, write to hello@papersinorder.com.
Standard server logs. Like every website, the host records requests — IP address, time, page, browser string — as part of serving and protecting the site. Those logs are Netlify's, kept on their retention schedule, and are not used to build a profile of you.
What is not collected
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no pixel, no heatmap, no Pinterest tag.
- No advertising network, so no ad tracking.
- No cookies set by this site. Nothing here writes a cookie, and nothing is stored in your browser.
- No accounts, no comments, no payment. There is nothing to log into and nothing to buy yet.
Who else can see the data
Two outside services handle data here. Visitor form data — the email address you submit — is stored by Netlify, the host that runs this site. Mail you send to hello@papersinorder.com is forwarded by the domain registrar, Namecheap, to a private inbox read by the publisher. The email list is not sold, rented or shared. No third-party email service is connected yet; when one is added — it will be, once the list grows — this page will name it before the first email goes out through it.
Children
Nothing here is aimed at children, and the email form should not be used by anyone under 13.
Your choices
- Don't submit the form, and nothing about you is stored beyond ordinary server logs.
- Once subscribed, ask to be removed at any time by writing to hello@papersinorder.com. The unsubscribe page explains how.
- To have your address deleted, write to hello@papersinorder.com and say so. It gets deleted, not "suppressed".
Changes
This page will change when the site does — when an email service, ads or analytics are added. The date below moves when it does.
